Part of a comprehensive eBook focused on 3D printing service bureaus made in collaboration with 3DPBM and Namitech, a case study about a motorcycle prototype developed with the famed IED (Istituto Europeo del Design – European Institute of Design).

3D printers that allow easy material changes, with high-temperature configurations (up to 220°C) and with build volumes up to 72 liters, have been the keys to success in this project.The need to print functional parts in 6 different materials – from rubber-like to high-performance nylons – was a challenge that, thanks to the flexibility of our SLS® platforms and the Namitech’s know-how, was easily overcome.
