Vacuum Casting
FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES
Vacuum casting ensures accurate duplication of a model using a silicone mold. It is undoubtedly the most economical production process for small series: prototype parts, pre-series or parts sold. A silicone mold costs less than a steel or aluminium production mold. The choice of material is as broad as for 3D printing, providing more possibilities: rigid polyurethanes, self colored ranges, transparencies, elastomers, silicones, etc. Parts are close to the end material.

METHODOLOGY
3D file to manufacture the master, made in stereolithography / or existing part provided by you.
Manufacture of a silicone mold using the master.
Gravity casting inside a silicone mould, in a vacuum chamber.
Manufacture of polyurethane model replicas: between 15 and 30 parts by mold depending on the material.
