Do’in3D adds to the growing list of services bureaus trusting Prodways Technologies’ ProMaker P1000.

A few months after the installation of a ProMaker P1000 at Creabis and Inovsys sites, two growing services bureaus, Do’in3D adds to the list of 3D printing service providers who trusts the Prodways Technologies’ affordable Selective Laser Sintering 3D printer to quickly answer the expanding industrial market needs.

With a global service bureau market estimated at 2.17 billion euros in 2016, up 26.8% compared to 2015 , the demand for 3D printed services is booming. Industries start their digital changeover through, in a first step, on-demand parts 3D printed by services bureaus who must guarantee high-quality unique parts in record times. To face this booming demand, services bureaus such as Do’in3D, a growing 3D service provider based in Savoie Technolac in France, must equip with high productivity and high flexibility 3D printers. Following the lead of several services bureaus, Do’in3D chose Prodways’ Selective Laser Sintering 3D printer ProMaker P1000 because of its large build platform bringing industrial performance at an affordable price (less than $100 000) to increase its production facilities.

Stéphane Chat, Founder of Do’In3D: “We’ve founded Do’in3D to allow key industrial players to move toward 3D printing and allow them to benefit from a large choice among all existing technologies. We logically chose to increase our production capacity with Prodways’ Selective Laser Sintering 3D printer ProMaker P1000 which allows, thanks to its flexibility, us to provide solutions to all types of industrial applications in a record time. Prodways Selective Laser Sintering 3D printer allows us to print parts which geometry that can be very complex for prototyping, pre or small series with a large choice of materials. Thanks to this new tool, we are bringing to our customer the best industrial answer to their concept or industrialization questions.”

Do’in3D success also relies on the support and integration of 3D printing technologies within the whole innovation process of its customer. Luc Eckenfelder, General Manager of Prodways Conseil states: “Up to now, the industrial companies are not taking advantage of the full additive manufacturing potential towards each step of their production process. Having a first step through the on-demand 3D printing of parts by a service bureau allows managers to create the necessary inspiration within their team to nurture their minds of the future of their industry. Additive manufacturing allows companies to lower their production cost, lead time and to reinvent their level of service but there is still a lot to create for the majority of industries. Services bureaus are playing a major role in the support and integration for those new technologies.”

Renown as experts of additive manufacturing, the positive feedbacks of services bureaus like Do’in3D, bears witness to reliability and performance of the ProMaker P1000 3D printer and confirms Prodways Group’s strategy to open new fields of applications in addressing new segments of professional users.

Prodways Technologies’ ProMaker P1000 3D printer as well as examples of 3D printed parts by Do’in3D service bureau will be displayed at Prodways booth B-140, hall 5 at Global Industrie tradeshow in Paris.
